Laura has strong experience in international affairs, with a focus on gender. For the Secure Fisheries team, Laura develops and leads research around gender, development, and food security as a component of sustainable fisheries. She also oversees administrative and logistical work including organization of events and meetings. Before working with Secure Fisheries, Laura spent a year in Austria working as an English Teaching Assistant for the Austrian American Educational Commission (Fulbright Commission). She graduated from Lewis & Clark College with a BA in International Affairs and German Studies.
