Sarah Glaser

Oceanographer Sarah GlaserSenior Research Associate

Sarah is an expert in marine ecology with a focus on tuna, sustainable fisheries, and food security in Africa. Sarah leads Secure Fisheries’ scientific research team. Her work involves quantitative models of fisheries dynamics and fisheries conflict. She also leads an NSF-funded study of Lake Victoria exploring the interactions of cage fish farming and wild fisheries through food security, biodiversity, and employment. Sarah has an appointment at the Joseph Korbel School of International Studies, University of Denver. She earned her PhD from Scripps Institution of Oceanography. Prior to joining OEF, Sarah worked at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science, the College of William & Mary, the University of Kansas, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
